1. The Service
Perspicacity is an AI-powered daily macro intelligence brief service operated as a sole proprietorship in Ontario, Canada. The service delivers automated research summaries generated by artificial intelligence based on publicly available news and market data.
Perspicacity is a research and information service only. It is not a registered investment dealer, portfolio manager, investment fund manager, exempt market dealer, or investment adviser in any jurisdiction, including under the Securities Act (Ontario), the regulations of the Ontario Securities Commission (OSC), the Securities Exchange Act of 1934 (US), or any equivalent legislation in any other jurisdiction worldwide.
2. Not Investment Advice
All content delivered through Perspicacity — including but not limited to daily briefs, signals, directional views, watchlists, contrarian takes, and market commentary — is provided strictly for informational and educational purposes only.
Nothing in the service constitutes, or should be construed as:
- Investment advice or a recommendation to buy, sell, or hold any security, financial instrument, cryptocurrency, or other asset
- A solicitation or offer to buy or sell any security
- Financial planning advice
- Tax advice
- Legal advice
- A guarantee of any investment outcome or return
All directional views, signals, and bias indicators are analytical frameworks only. They do not account for your personal financial situation, risk tolerance, investment objectives, time horizon, or tax circumstances. All investment and financial decisions remain solely your responsibility.

3. AI-Generated Content
All briefs and content are generated by artificial intelligence using publicly available news sources and market data ingested at the time of generation. You acknowledge and agree that:
- AI models are imperfect and may produce inaccurate, incomplete, or misleading content
- Content is generated automatically without human editorial review
- Sources cited may be misinterpreted or incorrectly attributed by the AI system
- Numbers, statistics, and figures should always be independently verified before being relied upon
- The service may experience outages, errors, or data gaps that affect brief quality or delivery
Perspicacity makes no representations or warranties regarding the accuracy, completeness, timeliness, or reliability of any AI-generated content.
4. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years of age to use Perspicacity. By creating an account, you represent and warrant that you are 18 or older and have the legal capacity to enter into these terms.
You represent that you are accessing the service as a sophisticated investor acting on your own independent judgment, and that you understand the risks associated with financial markets and investing.
5. Subscriptions and Billing
Perspicacity offers paid subscription plans billed monthly. All prices are in United States dollars (USD) unless otherwise stated.
Subscriptions begin with a 7-day free trial. You will not be charged during the trial period. At the end of the trial, your subscription will automatically convert to a paid plan unless you cancel before the trial ends.
You may cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. No refunds are provided for partial billing periods.
Payments are processed by Stripe. By subscribing, you also agree to Stripe's terms of service. Perspicacity does not store your payment card information.
6. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Redistribute, resell, or republish brief content without written permission
- Use the service to create competing products or services
- Scrape, crawl, or automate access to the service
- Share your account credentials with others
- Use the service for any unlawful purpose
7. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Perspicacity and its operator shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from:
- Your use of or reliance on any content delivered through the service
- Any investment decision made based on content from the service
- Any inaccuracy, error, or omission in AI-generated content
- Any interruption, suspension, or termination of the service
- Any loss of data or unauthorized access to your account
In no event shall Perspicacity's total liability exceed the amount you paid for the service in the three months preceding the claim.
8. Disclaimer of Warranties
The service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.
9. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Ontario.
10. Changes to These Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email. Continued use of the service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
